Updated Hometech is Coming!
Update: Our new apps are in place and reading to update! They will still show that we are upgrading, but you can get them now, so that when we return back online, you will be ready to re-enroll. Upgrade your Hometech Android App or iPhone App now!
On November 10th, around 2:00pm EST, Hometech was brought offline until our updated system comes online on the morning of the 12th. Expect to see a "We are offline for maintenance" (both online and in the new app once you install it - links above) message while we perform the upgrade, along with a message on the main website letting you know the status of the update.
As a reminder:
- our ATM in Plainville takes deposits, if you need to deposit checks or cash on the 11th, or if you need to make a cash withdrawal.
- you can see your balances at any UBI or Allpoint ATM as well as transfer money between accounts.
- SOME Allpoint ATM's take cash deposits! Search the locator and look for an Allpoint+ ATM near you (the "+" is what means it takes deposits)!
Tomorrow, November 12th, you will have to:
- Re-enroll in Hometech (your LOGIN will not transfer over - meaning your username and password.
- Update the Hometech app on your phone (if you’re an app user).
- NEW: You will need to Readd your external accounts (your scheduled external transfers will continue to work - you will need to readd the account though when you want to schedule new payments to the external account).
After logging in, all of your old information will show up. This includes:
- Transfers (internal and external)
- Bill Pay Payees and scheduled payments
- eStatements and Tax docs
- Account history
Some of the *NEW* features Include:
- Automatic Account Linking – Any account you have joint access to will show up under one login. These can be hidden if you want by going to More > Accounts > Account Settings > Membership settings > Select Account you don’t want to see > Delete (similarly, from that same page, to add an account you’ve previously removed click “Add an existing membership to digital banking”)
- Pay with a Card – Make a payment to your loan using a credit or debit card while logged into Hometech
- Your Credit Score in Hometech – keep up on your TransUnion score anytime you log in for free!
- Skip a Payment – need to skip a payment? Just do it from the app!
- Card Freeze/Permanently Lock – Lost your card temporarily? Freeze it, then unfreeze it when you find it. Lost it permanently? Shut it off and initiate the new card process!
- All of the Old Functionality you enjoyed!
