eNotification

As part of our incentive to start “going green” we are trying to cut back on the amount of notices we send out. If you opt into eNotification, you will get notified of any conditions much, much quicker than traditional mail. These conditions are:

  • Insufficient Funds (NSF)
  • Courtesy Payment
  • CD Maturity
  • Delinquency Notices

With this service, you will be notified instantly when you are in any of these conditions, allowing you to react much, much quicker. You have the options of opting in, opting out, or getting both (paper and electronic notices).

If you are between the ages of 18 and 65 and wish to avoid being charged for postage on notices sent by UBI, you will need to get signed up. Here’s some common answers to questions we’ve been asked.

What is eNotification?
eNotification replaces the old way of sending you your banking service notifications from UBI Federal Credit Union. It will be the preferred way going forward to implement notices.

How can I receive eNotification?
You can get UBI eNotification account alerts at any email address, or as a text message on your cell phone.

Where do I sign up?
You can either call your local UBI Branch, or, you can stop in at either location.

Is eNotification part of Hometech or the other electronic notification I am all ready signed up for?
No, this is an entirely different service that happens at the moment we do processing.

When can I sign up?
Right now! Call us!

Do I have to sign up for eNotification?
No, however, since it’s our incentive to start going green, people who do not opt to take eNotification are responsible for paying postage on items sent to them.

If you have any other questions, please email us or call us at: (860) 747-4152. We’d be happy to answer any questions you might have. You CANNOT sign up for this service via email. Requests made to do so will be deleted.
