Terms of Use
Please take a moment to read these terms carefully, and print a copy for your records.

CHANGE IN TERMS
It may become necessary to change the terms or conditions regarding your UBI home banking access. In the event such a change is necessary we will display a message on the UBI log-in page for an updated copy of said terms. This will take place at least 10 days prior to the date on which the change becomes effective. In the event that an immediate change is required to maintain the security of your account or the Credit Union system, we shall notify you via e-mail within 10 days of making the change.

 

UBI ONLINE ACCOUNT ACCESS
Accessing your account through the UBI Credit Union online account access interface confirms your agreement to be bound by all disclosures and agreements and acknowledges your receipt and understanding of this agreement.

In order to access your accounts online you must have an active UBI Credit Union account.


The service is generally available 24 hours a day, seven days a week; however, the service may be unavailable from time to time for routine software and hardware maintenance or due to unscheduled down time.

 

ACCESS REQUIREMENTS
You need a computer, related equipment, and an Internet connection in order to access UBI Online Account Access. In addition, you need to install Internet browser software capable of supporting 128-bit encryption on your computer if you do not already have it. Modifications to the services in the future may require installation of upgrades to the browser's software. You are responsible for installation, maintenance, and operation of your browser's software.

It is your sole responsibility to insure your personal computer and related equipment are compatible with and capable of operating in a manner that allows you to utilize the UBI Online Account Access Service.

 

PARTICIPATING PARTY RIGHTS
You have the right to terminate your UBI Online Account Access at any time upon delivery of written (e-mail acceptable) notice to United Business and Industry Credit Union. United Business and Industry Credit Union has the right to terminate its obligation to provide Online Account Access Services to you upon ten days of prior written notice (e-mail acceptable).

You agree to waive and release any claims against United Business and Industry Credit Union arising out of or in anyway related to the Online Account Access Service, except for those claims resulting solely from the negligent acts or omissions of the credit union.

All questions regarding your UBI Online Account Access should be directed to the credit union at 860 747-4152.

UBI ONLINE ACCOUNT ACCESS SERVICE CANCELLATION
You may cancel your UBI Online Account Access at any time. If you would like to cancel your Online Account Access, provide the credit union with a signed written notice or e-mail your request to ubifcu@ubifcu.com

CONFIDENTIALITY
We will only disclose information to third parties about your UBI Online Account Access:

Where it is necessary for completing a technical support call.

In order to verify the existence or conditions of your account(s) for a third party or if you give us written permission.

Comply with a government agency or applicable law.

UBI Federal Credit Union Online Account Access Agreement
Please take a moment to read these terms carefully, and print a copy for your records. By accessing any page of our online services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Accessing your account through UBI Online Account Access confirms your agreement to be bound by all disclosures and agreements, and acknowledges your receipt and understanding of this agreement.

In order to participate in UBI Online Account Access you must be a primary owner of at least one active checking (share draft) account.

If you request additional primary or joint accounts to be added to your UBI Online Account Access, you must have full signing authority on those accounts.

Only an owner or joint owner may authorize payment or transfer payment from any accounts tied to UBI Online Account Access.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your PIN in order to maintain the security of your account. UBI Federal Credit Union is not responsible for unauthorized disclosure of your PIN or unauthorized use of the Online Account Access Services by a person utilizing your PIN.

You agree to release and waive any claims against UBI Federal Credit Union based on such unauthorized use.

If there is any change of ownership of any such account(s), notification must be immediately provided to UBI Federal Credit Union.

Access to the Online Account Access may be denied at any time without notice if an account owner removes an individual from an account.

 

You understand and agree that UBI Federal Credit Union may refuse any Online Account Access transaction that result in a negative account balance. Your overdraft protection does not apply to your UBI Online Account Access.

 

The UBI Online Account Access is provided free of monthly charges except for fees associated for stop payment orders and federal regulations (see item #13). UBI Federal Credit Union has the right to change the fees for Online Account Access upon ten days of prior written notice to you. In addition, UBI Federal Credit Union has the right to amend these terms from time to time effective upon publication including posting on our Internet Web site.

 

New Services: UBI Federal Credit Union may, from time to time, introduce new Online Account Access Services. We shall update this Agreement to notify you of the existence of these new services. By using these services when they become available, you agree to be bound by the rules contained in the UBI Online Account Access Agreement.

 

You agree to waive and release any claims against UBI Federal Credit Union arising out of or in anyway related to Online Account Access Services, except for those claims resulting solely from the negligent acts or omissions of the credit union.
The fees you incur for Internet access shall be your sole responsibility.

 

Transfers from Share Accounts and Money Market: Federal regulations limit the number of pre-authorized electronic fund transfers and telephone transfers, including Online Account Access and Tony transfers. You are limited to no more than 6 pre-authorized, automatic, or telephonic transfers from your savings or money market account at the credit union, or to another account at the credit union, or to a third party in any calendar month, and no more than three of these 6 transfers may be made by check, draft, debit card or similar order payable to a third party. If you exceed or attempt to exceed these transfer limits, the excess transfer requests may be refused or reversed, a fee may be imposed on the excess transfer requests, and the credit union may reclassify or close your account.

 

E-mail: Sending e-mail through UBI Online Account Access is a way to communicate with the credit union. We ask that you use e-mail when asking specific questions about your account(s) or Online services. You can not use e-mail to initiate transactions on your account(s). For transactions, please use the appropriate functions within UBI Online Account Access.

 

Written notice may be accomplished by e-mail notice and/or mailings to members at the last known e-mail or public address.

 

Applicable Law And Jurisdiction
You agree that this Agreement will be governed by the laws and regulations of the State of Connecticut. Further, you agree that the Connecticut courts shall have subject matter jurisdiction over any matter of controversy relating to the Agreement and the use of UBI Online Account Access.
